Bump Style Approved: Pregnancy Style Q&A with Cassie Connolly

[Bump Style Approved: Pregnancy Style Q&A with Cassie Connolly] - [Wearing Black top and Maternity Pants]

Ummmm....we are very well aware Mother's Day just passed but who the hell says it has to be Mother's Day to shed a spotlight on mamas everywhere? Exactly! That's why we've created a segment specifically for preggo mamas who love everything FASHION. There's nothing hotter than a fashionista mama who puts herself together with little to no effort. So if you are preggo chic, we want to hear from you!

Today, the spotlight is on Cassie Connolly, a die hard fashionista mommy-to-be from Los Angeles, California turned Georgia peach. Cassie is anything but ordinary! Not only is she a mommy-to-be and a fashion "it-girl," she is also a bad ass mommy blogger. Here's the skinny on Cassie.

Quick Deets

Preggosphere:   So, Cassie, what would you say is the best and worst part about being pregnant?

Cassie:    The absolute best part about being pregnant is feeling your babies kicks and movements in your belly!  I could sit for hours and watch all of her movements!  The worst part for me has been being so exhausted in my last trimester and not being able to keep up with everything the way I used to be able too!

Preggosphere:    How would you describe your fashion style? Has it changed since you got pregnant?

Cassie:    My fashion style is very eclectic.  I pull inspiration from everywhere and put it together in a way that makes me feel comfortable.  My fashion has definitely changed since I have been pregnant because so many of my favorite pieces just don't fit the way they used to and I would say comfort has taken a bigger role than ever (I know my fellow mommies and mommies to be out there understand)!

Preggosphere:    Haha, we sure do Cassie! So if we raided your closet right now, what would we find most of?

Cassie:    Bright colors, prints and neutrals.  I either go one way or the other!

Cassie:   Maternity leggings, espadrilles and a comfy tee

Preggosphere:    What brands do you love - maternity or otherwise?

Cassie:    Asos, J. Crew, Old Navy, Anthropologie, Forever 21, Pink Blush

Preggosphere: So every preggo mama is dying to know. Are you skipping the heels or are you going to wear them throughout your pregnancy?

Cassie:    I've been wearing them throughout, although the height of the heels are decreasing the more pregnant i get!

[Bump Style Approved: Pregnancy Style Q&A with Cassie Connolly] - [Wearing Casual Maternity Outfit]

Preggosphere:    We bet it has! Gotta watch your step right....LOL. Fill in the blank: I wouldn’t dream of leaving the house without ______

Cassie:    A good pair of sunglasses

Preggosphere: Yeah, sunglasses does add a little bit of spice to your whole outfit. Okay...so what moms do you think have/had great maternity style?

Cassie:    Amber Fillerup, Cara Loren and Kate Middleton

Preggosphere:    Are you a trend setter or do you prefer to follow the latest trend? Or a little bit of both?

Cassie:    I love taking the newest trends and modifying them to my personal style.  It's no fun being just like everyone else, but I wouldn't necessarily say I'm a trendsetter. Maybe one day!
