Preggosphere: Tell us a little bit about yourself

 

Irina:  I’m a Ukrainian-born blogger living in Orange County, California, with my very own Mr. Bond.  I started Bond Girl Glam as an online community for modern-day Bond Girls covering topics of personal style, beauty, home décor, and general lifestyle.  Mr. Bond and I are also expecting our first baby this year and couldn’t be more excited.

 

 

Preggosphere: Big Congrats! So...what’s the best and worst part about being pregnant?  

 

Irina: The best part about being pregnant is feeling my baby kick, knowing that she’s growing and developing.  The worst part is probably the nausea, heartburn, and odd symptoms that come with pregnancy, but it’ll all be worth it in the end when we get to meet her!

 

 

Preggosphere: How would you describe your fashion style? Has it changed since you got pregnant?  

 

Irina: My style is a bit of edgy mixed in with classic and feminine.  It’s adjusted a bit to accommodate a growing bump, but not too much.

 

Preggosphere: If I raided your closet right now, what would I find most of?

 

Irina:  A whole lot of everything – basics, staples, trendy items, high-end, and more affordable options.

 

Preggosphere: What’s your go-to pregnancy outfit?  

 

Irina: Dresses with heels or flats.  As fall weather transitions, it’ll be more like maternity jeans and leggings with knits and boots.

 

 

Preggosphere: What brands do you love - maternity or otherwise?  

 

Irina: Too many to list!  I’m just attracted to quality things that’ll last me for years, no matter the price point.

 

 

Preggosphere: Are you skipping the heels while preggo or wear them throughout your pregnancy?  

 

Irina: I’m definitely wearing heels as long as I can into pregnancy, but only when the situation would comfortably allow me to.  If I’m going to have to walk for hours, I’ll opt for flats.  Wedges and boots have been great stiletto alternatives, since they have a lot more stability.

 

Preggosphere: Fill in the blank: I wouldn’t dream of leaving the house without ______

 

Irina: Lipstick

 

 

Preggosphere: What moms do you think have/had great maternity style?

 

Irina:  Cara Loren and Amber Fillerup Clark – love them!

 

Preggosphere: Are you a trend setter or do you prefer to follow the latest trend? Or a little bit of both?  

 

Irina: I wear what I like and what seems to work with my body type.  I’m not opposed to trying out new trends, but I definitely don’t follow them all.  You won’t see any Birkenstocks on Bond Girl Glam. ;)
