Bump Style Approved: Pregnancy Q&A with Elle K.

Super ferosh mama, Elle K is giving us the scoop on her preggo style. She is a Kindergarten teacher, a fashion blogger and one hot mama-to-be. Hot damn! A Triple threat and we totally LOVE it! Let's get this party started and get acquainted with this fierce mommy-to-be because she is all the way #BumpStyleApproved.

Preggosphere:  Tell us a little bit about yourself

 

Elle:  Hi loves! I'm Elle - I've been blogging for around three years, and I've loved meeting lots of new friends through it! My main hobby is obviously shopping and styling new trends with classic pieces! Fashion is one of my favorite things to keep up with, however, I also enjoy reading new books, finding new indie bands to listen to, watching independent and foreign films with my sweet husband, and petting every single dog or puppy that I walk past!

 

 

 

Preggosphere:  Awww...so sweet!  So, what is the best and worst part about being pregnant?  

 

Elle:  I love being pregnant because my little one gets to go everywhere with me! She is so sweet, and I love having ultra sounds because I can see her sweet little smile when we talk to her! The worst part is giant, swollen ankles, but it's totally worth it!

 

 

Preggosphere:  How would you describe your fashion style? Has it changed since you got pregnant?  

 

Elle:  My fashion sense is definitely classy, but I love trying new trends too! I'm definitely modest and love anything that's colorful! My style hasn't changed too much since being pregnant.  Pre-pregnancy,  I wore a lot of dresses, and that's still pretty much all I wear!

 

 

 

Preggosphere: If I raided your closet right now, what would I find most of?

 

Elle: You would definitely find dresses!

 

 

 

 

Preggosphere:  Oh you certainly wear dresses well:-)  What’s your go-to pregnancy outfit? 

 

Elle: My go to outfits for pregnancy are my preggo leggings with a comfy, loose tee or my favorite navy and white striped dress with some converse!

 

 

 

 

Preggosphere:  What brands do you love - maternity or otherwise?

 

Elle:  My favorite designer brands are Tory Burch and Rebecca Minkoff! 

 

 

 

Preggosphere:  Are you skipping the heels while preggo or wear them throughout your pregnancy?

 

 Elle:  I have been wearing heels up to this point, but now that I'm in month 8 heels are pretty much a no-no!

 

 

 

Preggosphere:  Fill in the blank: I wouldn't dream of leaving the house without ______

 

Elle: my phone! 

 

 

 Preggosphere:  Yeah, phones are a must have! LOL. Okay, fill in the blank. I feel most comfortable when --

 

Elle:  I am laying out by the pool in my swimsuit feeling the gorgeous sun rays on my skin! Super specific, right? haha can you tell I'm ready for summer?

 

 

 Preggosphere:   Oh I think we all are!  What moms do you think have/had great maternity style?

 

Elle:  Cara Loren and Amber FillerUp both had great maternity style!

 

 

 

Preggosphere:   Are you a trend setter or do you prefer to follow the latest trend? Or a little bit of both? 

 

Elle:  I'd say a little bit of both - I definitely wear what I like and consider cute/stylish, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit that if i see a cute outfit on Pinterest I most definitely recreate it!
